Meet Felicity Drummond
I started Vorenyxalo back in 2017 after watching too many promising businesses fail because they didn't get proper advice during setup. The Northern Rivers region has always had incredible entrepreneurial energy, but accessing quality financial guidance was tough.
Before this, I spent twelve years with mid-tier accounting firms in Brisbane and Sydney. Saw plenty of business launches go sideways because founders focused only on their product or service without thinking through the financial structure properly.
Our approach is different. We don't charge percentages or take equity stakes. We get paid for consultation work, then our success comes from watching clients build something that lasts. No hidden agendas or pressure to scale faster than makes sense.
What Actually Happens in Our Process
Most people come to us with a business idea and questions about entity structure, tax implications, and funding options. We typically meet three or four times during the first two months to map everything out properly.
Recent example: helped a food production startup in January 2025 structure their business to handle both retail and wholesale channels. They needed different licensing arrangements and wanted to understand cash flow timing. Took six weeks of back-and-forth, but they launched in March with realistic projections and appropriate capital reserves.
The Honest Reality
Not every business concept works financially. Sometimes the numbers just don't add up, or the market timing isn't right. I'd rather tell someone that upfront than watch them lose their savings on something that was never going to pencil out.
Last year, we advised against launching two separate business concepts because the capital requirements were unrealistic given market conditions. That's part of the job too.
